Welcome to Cocoplum

Cocoplum continues to be one of Miami's top exclusive luxury neighborhoods to live in. Whether you desire a waterfront home or something near it, this location will have you surrounded by ethereal landscaping and sparkling canals. With a little over 400 homes in this gated community, styles of homes are endless to choose from, ranging from grand and modern to Spanish Mediterranean. This exclusive community offers island resort-style amenities within this luxury estate community. Lavish homes are not only what makes this area so desirable, but the convenience of easy access to surrounding top spots like Coral Gables, Downtown, Miami International Airport, and main roads such as Sunset Drive, Le Jeune Road, and Old Cutler Drive.

Residents and visitors enjoy foot and bike trails from as far northeast as Key Biscayne, with close proximity to Matheson Hammock Park, Fairchild Botanical Gardens, and some of Miami’s finest schools like Ransom Everglades, St. Stephens, and Carrolton. One of the popular trails located in the area is the 13.5-mile Old Cutler Trail. This trail goes through some of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the greater Miami area under the cover of magnificent fichus trees and banyans with easy parking at the Cocoplum Circle, a traffic circle where Old Cutler Road, Sunset Road, and LeJeune Road intersect.

Matheson Hammocks Park is another beautiful park with many activities as well as Matheson Beach, a man-made atoll pool that is naturally flushed every day by the nearby tides from Biscayne Bay. There is also a scenic lake bordered by a large coral rock picnic pavilion and smaller pavilions with charcoal grills, picnic tables and benches. Nature trails and bike trails weave throughout the park. Its tranquil breeze-swept beach is a haven for families who enjoy its warm, safe waters and beautiful waterside views.

Another nice feature this park has to offer is The Red Fish Grill located inside the park. The Red Fish Grill was featured on the Cooking Channel and awarded the 100 Best Al Fresco Dining Restaurants in the Nation in 2016. The restaurant on the beach serves fresh seafood, pasta, chicken, and steak. You can dine inside the historic coral rock building or outside, overlooking the beach and Biscayne Bay.

Fairchild Botanical Gardens is another beautiful park nearby to Cocoplum. This 83-acre botanic garden opened in 1983 and features an extensive collection of rare tropical plants including palms, cycads, flowering trees, and vines. Fairchild is a museum, a laboratory, a learning center, and a conservation research facility; its main role is preserving biodiversity. It has 45,000 members and more than 1,200 volunteers. In 2012, Fairchild became the home of the American Orchid Society. The garden hosts a series of seasonal weekend festivals including the International Chocolate Festival, the International Mango Festival, the Butterfly Festival, the Bird Festival, the Orchid Festival, the Ramble, the Food and Garden Festival, and the Edible Garden Festival. Other activities include concerts and plant society meetings. Plants can be purchased during The Ramble event, usually held in the fall.

For those who want to kick it up a notch, Coco Plum's exclusive private community, Tahiti Beach offers 29 lavish homes including 17 waterfront properties with 24 hour security, guard gated entrances and private road access. Tahiti Beach residents also enjoy a private bayfront beach park and a pavilion with three tennis courts and many exclusive state of the art amenities like access to a private club and clubhouse, tennis courts, gyms, pools, basketball courts, and children's playground. The Coco Plum Yacht Club easily provides accommodation for those who wish to keep their vessels docked nearby.
